I am currently offering counselling to individuals 16 years and older. My services are offered in-person or virtually. I specialize in;

  • Anxiety,
  • Depression & low mood,
  • ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder),
  • Trauma,
  • General life struggles.

How Do I Know If I Need Counselling?

  • Do I notice more bad than good days?
  • Do I feel like myself?
  • Has day-to-day life just felt harder?
  • Is my worry increasing, and are my thoughts less logical?
  • Have I lost interest lately in the things I use to love?
  • Do I spend most of my life feeling worthless compared to others?
  • Sadness, teariness, irritability, being on-edge;
  • Excessive worries and/or racing thoughts;
  • Lack of motivation and/or loss of interest in activities;
  • Poor sleep quality;
  • Nightmares, hypervigilance, flashbacks;
  • Fatigue/exhaustion;
  • Difficulty making decisions, forgetfulness, misplacing items;
  • Restlessness

If you answered YES to any of these, you would likely benefit from counselling.

How Would Counselling Help Me?

When individuals begin counselling, they often feel that their distress is never going to end. Counselling helps us understand that we can do something to improve our situation. This can lead to changes that create healthy ways of coping, enhance relationships, improve one’s ability to express emotion, perform better at work or school, and/or think more positively.

Counselling is specific to you and what you are going through. I believe in working with my clients using a client centered approach that is non-judgmental. We will work together to bring about personal insight and develop coping skills and tools to deal with your current situation. I am confident you will find my personalized approach to your counseling beneficial.
